The 20th Anniversary Conference for AALHA will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2024. This year, our theme Staying Strong in Assisted Living explores ways the Assisted Living Homes industry can survive and thrive during a time of rapid change in population demands, legislation and regulations. Our goal is to support Homeowners, Managers and Caregivers in their pursuit of providing the highest level of care for Arizona's senior population.

Natali Edmonds
Natali Edmonds, PSYD, ABPP, is the host of the #1 Dementia Training channel on YouTube- Careblazers TV. Her free training videos have been viewed over 15 million times worldwide with new videos being released to the public every week. Her Dementia Careblazer Survival Guide has been downloaded over 70,000 times and is currently in use at the Department of Veteran’s Affairs Caregiver Support Program.
Her company, Dementia Careblazers was named the 2022 caregiving organization of the year by Care.com. She currently serves as a medical reviewer for national publications and has been been a featured expert on local and national news.

Ivonne Meader
Ivonne is the founder and VP of Operations for Caring Data, a software company for assisted living facilities. During the AALHA Conference, she will present Proper Documentation & Record Keeping in Assisted Living Facilities. Having been an owner and administrator herself in the assisted living setting, she gained valuable insight into what is needed and also what is lacking for those caring for individuals in residential care.

Dave Voepel
In 2018, Dave Voepel was named CEO of the Arizona Health Care Association’s (AHCA) which was organized in 1953. AHCA represents skilled nursing and assisted living centers throughout the state of Arizona. Dave has been in the association management arena since the late 1980’s giving him extensive legislative, regulatory, and non-profit experience. He has worked for all types of organizations including small, local groups to those with a national scope.
Before his present position, he was the Executive Director for the Illinois Health Care Association for 12 years and the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) for almost ten years. At NFIB, he served as their Vice President of Political Operation in Washington, D.C.
