Colleen brings over two decades of invaluable nursing experience to her role as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. This diverse background has given her a comprehensive understanding of patient care and healthcare systems.
For the past five years, Colleen has been dedicated to working as a PMHNP, specializing in adult populations with severe mental illness and general mental health concerns. Her commitment to mental health care is evident in her daily practice and her continuous efforts to improve the lives of those she serves.
Colleen's educational background is equally impressive. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Nursing at Grand Canyon University and went on to earn her Master's degree in Nursing, with a focus on Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, from Walden University. Her credentials are further bolstered by her board certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and her license as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner across the Lifespan in the State of Arizona.
Beyond her professional life, Colleen is a dedicated mother who balances her career with the busy schedules of her adolescent children's sports and activities. Her commitment to community service is exemplified through her work with a non-profit organization, where she and her daughter engage in activities that give back to the community. In her leisure time, Colleen enjoys traveling, appreciating art, and watching movies. And let's not forget her 3-year-old Tibetan Terrier, who keeps the family on their toes!
