This month's CE class is designed for Homeowners/Manager and Caregivers alike. Our topic is Medical Marijuana use, presented by Bill Meeks, The Cannabis Coach. As the legalization and acceptance of medical marijuana continue to grow, it is essential for facility owners to stay informed about the potential benefits, risks, and regulatory considerations associated with its use.
This course will cover:
- The basics of medical marijuana
- Medical conditions that medical marijuana can help alleviate
- Methods of administration
- Legal considerations
- Communication with residents, families and healthcare providers
NCIA and In-Service certificates are available.

Bill Meeks
Bill Meeks - a former football player, a political conservative, practicing Mormon, and retired police officer overcame his own personal biases to become a medical cannabis coach. As medical marijuana has become legal in much of the U.S., more senior citizens are starting to use it to manage pain and opioid addiction. He now teaches some of the state's elderly population how to use medical marijuana for the first time.
