We have invited AZDHS and they’ve accepted to have an open Questions and Answers session on Wed 9/17 for our Owners and Managers class regarding what homes can expect with the new Memory Care Services that was placed in effect 7/1/25 with a 90 day grace period to be implemented by 10/1/25.

DHS speaker:
Kris Lervold
Kristofer has been serving as a Compliance Officer for the Bureau of Assisted Living Facilities since July 2021. He started with the Arizona Department of Health Services as administrative staff, reviewing applications for new facilities. Currently, his duties include inspecting facilities licensed under the Bureau, as well as providing training for new compliance officers. He is part of the department’s Consistency Committee, and has developed documentation that is used in the inspection process.
Kristofer has two Bachelors degrees, one in Psychology and one in Sociology. Before working for the Arizona Department of Health Services, He worked as a Behavioral Health Technician at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
