This education class will cover:

This class will provide caregivers and assisted living homeowners with practical knowledge and tools to safely support residents experiencing chronic and acute pain conditions. Participants will learn how pain affects physical and emotional well-being, how to recognize signs and symptoms of pain, and how to support effective pain management through proper monitoring, medications, comfort measures, mobility support, and lifestyle interventions in a care setting. The course emphasizes prevention of complications, safe medication practices, communication with healthcare providers, and best practices for improving resident safety, comfort, mobility, and overall quality of life while maintaining compliance and high standards of care.

About The Speakers 

Austin Mill

Nurse Practitioner at Innovative Diabetic Center specializing in advanced metabolic therapy,
diabetes management, and chronic care. Experienced in ICU, pain management, and
emergency medicine, with a strong focus on improving patient outcomes, lowering A1c levels,
and restoring long-term metabolic health.
