This educational session will provide caregivers, assisted living owners, managers, and healthcare professionals with important updates on communications from the Arizona Department of Health Services (DHS) and the National Center for Assisted Living (NCIA). Participants will gain a better understanding of current regulatory updates, policy changes, compliance expectations, and industry best practices affecting assisted living communities. The session will also cover key announcements, operational guidance, and resources to help providers stay informed, maintain compliance, and deliver high-quality resident care.

Meet The Speaker:

Annette Quinata, MSG is the owner and operator of Covenant Care Assisted Living Home. She earned her degree in Food and Nutritional Sciences from San Diego State. She is a graduate of the California Culinary Institute where she excelled at kitchen management and menu development. Annette earned her Masters degree in Gerontology with an emphasis in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention and has worked in healthy aging for 15 years. Annette's desire to provide nourishing, well balanced meals and cost effective menus is greatly appreciated by her residents and clients.
