If you own, manage or operate an assisted living home, this CE class is for you! This month's class will explore:
- Importance of Relationships with high caliber agents- Inter-dependency of our businesses.
- Agents work for the senior living providers- NOT the other way around!
- The agent role includes working with home on creating solutions for the resident upon move in.
- Agents are “Educators, Advocates and experts in the resources of their community.”
- Do agents help you with finding good resources? Do agents ask you who you want to work with for home health or hospice? Do they insist on their preferred providers? If their preferred provider refers the client can you be open to work with that provider even if they aren’t your preferred provider.
- Do agents come and see you? Do they have contracts? Refund policies in those contracts? Do they have financial policies that are workable and respectful?
- Does PASRS matter? How has it helped? What can be done for the better? Where are the opportunities for the future to improve relationship between AALHA and PASRS?
- Disclosure law discussion
- Best Practices and Suggested Financial Guidelines for agents were written and intended to protect home owners and consumers
