Join AALHA as we explore Non-Pharmacologic Dementia Treatment during our first Homeowner/Manager CE Class of 2023. Attendees will learn:
- How to teach the basic principles of approaching persons living with dementia
- How to customize sensory experiences for meaningful engagement
- How to provide family members/caregivers written guides and brief videos about managing behavioral changes

Helena Morgan has an Associate’s degree and license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration. Helena is a veteran employee of Hospice of the Valley with over 9 years of care. She has spent much of her time in healthcare as a CNA in various parts of the valley and as an Occupational therapy assistant in various settings before becoming a Dementia Educator. She has a passion for educating families and caregivers who provide care to those living with Dementia. She is now a Dementia Education Specialist with a focus on Community Education in settings such as facilities- AL /SNF, home health care agencies, first responders, and community physician groups.
