AALHA's February Owner/Manager CE class is an update from the Department of Labor's Wage and Hour Division. The Wage and Hour Division mission is to promote and achieve compliance with labor standards to Division (WHD) enforces federal minimum wage, overtime pay, recordkeeping, and child labor requirements. The Division also oversees the Seasonal Agricultural Worker Protection Act and the Employee Polygraph Protection Act.
Elsie Darcy is the Community Outreach and Resource Planning Specialist at U.S. Department Of Labor's Phoenix District Office. Elsie graduated from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree.
